Still experimenting with Twitter on two accounts:
http://twitter.com/WhichBudget
http://twitter.com/TravelMagazine

With WhichBudget (http://www.whichbudget.com), still unsure how to use it to best advantage: post news about the company or about the industry, interact with visitors by encouraging discussion, ...? With TravelMagazine (http://www.thetravelmagazine.net), immediately linked it to the news and special offers RSS feeds from the main site and waiting to see what the feedback is.

Basically, got into the danger of using Twitter as just another RSS feed. I am sure this is not the best way forward, but, as Stephen said above, can't find an advantage of using Twitter over Facebook. Perhaps, as Donald said, it is just about showing we are "on the cutting edge", despite the fact that we totally do not understand how best to use this "cutting edge" technology.

From @boris: Facebook [LinkedIn?] is about people you used to know; Twitter is about people you'd like to know better. http://twitter.com/boris/status/1111228207

To me it is the news aspect (although the news is often fuzzy), plus of course potential networking benefits. However, the latter in my view require active efforts - it is a give and take.
